A Night to Remember: 3 Unique Party Ideas

Whether the event you're planning is a birthday, anniversary or another special event, you're sure to want a night to remember.  No matter what the occasion may be, celebrating with our family and friends is all about making great new memories.  What better way to do that than to do something new and different that none of your guests will ever forget?  That's not to say a traditional party isn't fun.  Of course, the people make the party, not the concept behind it.  Still, why not branch out and do something unusual for your event?

Pub Crawl with a Party Bus

If you're looking for a rowdy get-together, then this could be the perfect solution.  Neither you nor your guests have to refrain from drinking in order to drive.  Everybody can join in.  On top of that, you get a change of scenery, and fellow revellers, every time you move to another pub.  On top of that, you don't have to host the party at your home or at a hired location; the pubs you visit - and the bus itself - will play that part for you.  As such, even factoring the cost of the bus and a hired driver in, this can be a really cost-effective idea.  Just make sure you don't drink enough to forget the great time you'll have!

Silent Disco

This is an especially good idea if you're hosting your party at a location where noise pollution could be a problem.  It may take some coordination, but with the right equipment, this can make for a fun and really memorable party.  Every guest is given a pair of headphones, and the party's music is broadcast simultaneously to every set of headphones.  It makes for a bizarre and unique atmosphere at a party.  You won't be able to resist occasionally lifting your headphones to enjoy the sight of a roomful of people dancing to music you can't hear!

Compliment Party

Uplift your group of friends with a good-natured party theme to suit all ages.  Every guest has a piece of paper pinned to their back.  Over the course of the party, you can approach other guests and anonymously write something you like about them on their piece of paper.  It may be a compliment about their clothing, or something you've admired in them for a long time.  Nobody is allowed to read their own sheet of paper until the end of the party - and then, let the ego-boosting kick in!  Every guest will leave with a confidence boost and a happy memory, and all for the price of a stack of paper and a pen for each guest.

Whatever kind of party you throw, be sure to get your concept and your planning nailed down early.  Parties can be as stressful as they are fun - but with a little careful coordination, your event is sure to be a brilliant occasion for everyone invited.  Good luck!
